With a unique gifting in collaborative ideation, strategic thinking, and surfacing clarity out of confusion, Dave’s personal mission is to collectively facilitate innovative breakthrough and design for personal and organizational impact.

Following 16 years of pastoral ministry at a megachurch in Akron, Ohio, Dave transitioned to northwest Chicagoland in 2010 to serve as the executive pastor with Willow Creek Community Church’s Crystal Lake campus.  Within this current, senior leadership role, Dave provides staff and strategic oversight, while also facilitating LifePlans and the StratOp operating system throughout the entire church organization, made up of eight campuses and over 20,000 in weekend attendance.

With a Doctorate in Education, Dave has also served as an adjunct faculty member for Trinity International University since 2001, currently teaching educational, leadership and management disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate schools. Having a continual connection to academia has allowed Dave to remain on the forefront of educational research and theory, to then practically and effectively implement within the life of an organization.

Dave has been installing and coaching StratOp within churches, nonprofits, and small businesses since 2011, while facilitating LifePlans since 2012 for medical professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and clergy.

A native of New Jersey, Dave is married to his high school sweetheart, Jen, with six active children: Conner, Cameron, Riley, Lucy, Dylan, and Yorke.
