Becoming a Paterson Guide isn’t just a vocation -

As a guide, you’ll help individuals gain clarity, move forward with confidence, and reveal their full potential. Along the way, you’ll experience the deep fulfillment that comes from leading others toward meaningful breakthroughs.

This journey equips you with a proven framework, a community of like-minded leaders, and the tools to create lasting impact.

The first step to becoming a Certified LifePlan Guide is participating in your own LifePlan. This journey begins with discovering your unique purpose - so you can help others do the same.

TRAINING

There are five phases of training to complete over the course of one year.

  • Phase 1

    Online Training

    LEARNING OBJECTIVE

    Become familiar with the LifePlan processes.

    TIMELINE

    6 weeks; expect about 4-5 hours of self-paced work per week (videos / reading).

  • Phase 2

    In-Person Training

    LEARNING OBJECTIVE

    Equip trainees to facilitate LifePlan with basic-level proficiency.

    4 Days

  • Phase 3

    Practical Work & Cohort Support

    LEARNING OBJECTIVE

    Improve in the craft of facilitating LifePlan through repetition and coaching.

    TIMELINE

    Four months; anticipate high-touch coaching with each of your facilitations as well as monthly cohort calls.

  • Phase 4

    In-Person Training

    LEARNING OBJECTIVE

    Equip guides to serve LifePlan clients with excellence.

    3 Days

  • Phase 5

    Practical Work & Cohort Support

    LEARNING OBJECTIVE

    During Phase 5, you'll continue to practice with a provisional license until the fiscal year.
