“I realized I was too close. I was too emotional. I was trying to make decisions on the day-to-day as opposed to taking a step back and having a better perspective on where the organization wants to go and what my role is in getting the organization there…”
With the release of our 20th episode, we have something a little different for you. We’ve brought you numerous episodes sharing the stories of leaders in business, non-profit and faith communities, who have been deeply impacted by the Paterson Process. But is the Paterson Process effective in other contexts, like with a sports team? Jamie Franks would say “absolutely”.
Jamie Franks is the Head Coach of the men’s soccer team at Denver University. “Many people are sitting in the day-to-day without having that 10,000 ft view from above. Ultimately, the Paterson Process has helped us most by making sure that we always have a 10,000 ft view of the organization… What’s right? What’s wrong? What’s confused? What’s missing? Those four simple questions allow me and my staff and leadership team to manage everything correctly.”
We think you’ll really enjoy hearing Jamie’s wisdom on leadership, his insights on the Paterson Process, and his inspiring stories of winning against the odds.
