Jeff Adams is passionate about equipping strategic leaders for maximum impact in a culturally complex world. As a LifePlan Guide, he specifically values the way the Paterson Process is a hybrid of both professional and personal development, offering amazing clarity of purpose in all spheres of life.
For 33 years Jeff was lead pastor of Graceway, a large, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual church in Kansas City, Missouri, one of America’s most diversified churches and one with no ethnic majority. Prior to that Jeff was a pastor in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. For decades Jeff has been a key player in international missions as an educator, consultant, trainer, and international conference speaker, as well as serving on the board of various missional organizations. Culture and language are huge in Jeff’s world due to his experience in approximately 80 countries on six continents. Having now placed Graceway’s senior leadership in younger hands, Jeff finds that the LifePlan process is the perfect platform to fulfill his desire to mentor leaders in the international space. Equally fluent in English and Spanish, Jeff ministers, trains, coaches and facilitates LifePlans in both languages. He’s actually studied five other languages, but only enough to expertly get into trouble no matter where he may be on the planet.
Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, a Masters in Sacred Literature and a PhD in Expository Preaching. Jeff and his wife Cheryl have two grown daughters and four grandchildren. You can learn more about him on his website, drjeffadams.com. In addition to living out his own LifePlan, nothing gives Jeff more pleasure than basking in the joy of good food, good wine and good friends.
