Today, in light of COVID 19, we take a few minutes to ask: What might we each do to cultivate quiet in this moment?
As David mentions, “When we can get to a place of quiet, our hearing becomes more attentive.” What is it we need to listen to right now? And what does it look like to cultivate quiet spaces in this particular moment of history? Perhaps you, like us, feel that entering into the quiet feels very different right now, because some of it is chosen, while some of it is not of our choosing. Also, while there’s a quietness on the streets, it seems like the internal noisiness is getting louder. So how do we show up and enter a quiet space? What are the voices we hear when we really stop to listen?
