The Power of And: Feedback, Creating and Creatives–an interview with Jesse Oxford
Jesse Oxford is all about curiosity. “It’s important to stay curious. A lot of times we have a problem and we assume we know what the best approach to it is. But I like to go back to the beginning and ask ‘What question were people asking in the first place that led to the ubiquitous solution that we could default to today? The worst thing you can do is do a great job solving the wrong problem.”
Jesse is the Founder and Creative Director at OX Creative, a creative agency based in Chicago. The Paterson Center worked closely with OX over the last year or so to develop our entire branding strategy and the collateral associated with it. OX also uses the StratOp process internally and with the clients they serve. “The best way to get to a great solution is to ask a great question,” says Jesse. We at Paterson couldn’t agree more.
Filled with witty insights on being creative, leading teams of creatives, and how to receive criticism, we know you’ll love this episode of the Paterson Podcast.
